HI THERE, HELLO EVERYONE! (again)
As you may (or may not) have guest, this was not created by your's truly, but by my brother, who doesn't care enough about Stronghold to have his own Heavengames ID.
Anyway, here his original description of the map:
"Build the largest island fort in the history of the world! If you want to, or you could just muck about. Your choice."
P.S. I edited this map to make it "up-load worthy", as it was in a pritty shaby state (he doesn't have a very big attention span).
Can someone please rate this.
Even a coment will do...

Well I wont go overboard and say its a 5 but it certainly isnt the worst map I've played.
There are several areas to place your keep and stat a settlement, perhaps the placement of resporces are a bit unatural however if a bit more time was spent it could be a hole lot better.
I feel that the one think freebuilds must be is visually appealing to keep the entertainment withing the map. When I play a freebuild I like to see realistic and interesting terrains so that I can build castles into the natural features, I strongly dislike flat terrain as it offers no stimulous for building as there is no challenge and the castle will be dull and boring.
Not bad for a first attempt however even the placing of dirt and stones on flat grass can have a possitive effect and boost the maps overall playability, perhaps look at some other maps and have a go at the terrain styles of another author there are plenty of terrain styles which are destinctivbe to each author.
Good first effort practice makes a better designer, we all have to start somewhere I remember my old maps and look at the improvement since then , just keep it up and you will improve.

Alexus :)

Thanks WL_Ds, but siad, as I said before, this was originaly designed by my yonger brother.
I had to edit it, it wouldn't have got more than a 3 if I hadn't.
The lake wasn't flat, IT LOKKED LIKE A CREATER!!
Where the wolfs in the small froest, on the South-Eastern hill were, there was a HUGE depsit of oil (with the oil going right up to the edge of both the sea and the marsh)
