Our great nation has long endured the tests of time and war, but now I fear for it. I fear our country will fall, not from war, but because it lacks the infastructure to support itself. Revolts are breaking out all across the country, most recently in the mining community. It has lasted for several months, and though the Council of Lords and His Majesty have ignored it, our economy is suffering without a steady supply of iron and stone resources. His Majesty realizes order must be restored. Without permission from the Council, he has authorized the use of armed force to quell the uprising. You are charged with marching, unofficially of course, to the quarry and killing their leader. Though he would normally be put on trial, we do not have the time to formally and fairly deal out judgment, we do not have time for the bickering senators of the Council to decide what must be done. Take a legion to the quarry and wipe them out, but do so descreetly. If you are detected, let none escape to tell.
In this mission you must kill the rebel leader while protecting your own ally, who has established a village nearby. You are NOT in control of this village, but if you protect it, you can use their weapons to build up your army.
Playability: 5
This map reminds me of some of my old maps. Short and fun with fighting! Good enough for a five for the plain ole fun of the map. I like the tiny map depicting one battle or fight.
Balance: 4
A tad easy. I said a "tad", the jury is still out on the definition of a tad, somewhere between a "alot" and a "little bit". I thought it was kinda easy, however I am a exprienced player.
Creativity: 5
Great writing, map idea, look, and landscape. Not too much to clutter it all up and make it look like you spent 50 days working on one little area (like some designer groups on here).
Map Design: 5
A low five with a weak wooden gate that doesnt really put up much of a fight. But its nice with strategy and timing needed to get in.
Story/Instructions: 5
Awesome write up that I didnt skip out of boredom! I liked it and it told the story of the place and why you are fighting. GOOD
