Hello and welcome to my first uploaded map! Now updated to take advantage of the v1.2 patch for SH and with a new storyline.
This map is the prequel to the Invasion edition of Glazebury Muse. You play Lord Woolsack in the Kings favourite castle during the peaceful period before the King leaves to deal with the barbarians. Get to know this map as you'll need to know your way around when the invasion edition becomes available (approx. 1-2 months). This is the calm before the storm!!

Glazebury Muse features rich eye-candy (as many of you will have seen from the Scenario Design forums on Stronghold Heaven). It has been initially designed as an invasion map but I wanted to release a freebuild version first to raise a few eyebrows: How could this castle ever be overcome by an enemy on such a small battle field? ;) Pheraps the engineers sent to spy on you know something you don't...
Many thanks to the other scenario designers for great map and eye-candy ideas, many of which I've used in this map but all of which I've enjoyed viewing. Also, extreme thanks go to Firefly Studios for making such a great game and map editor!
Well, hope you enjoy and look forward to any feedback :o) Stay tuned for the invasion version coming soon...

This was an extremely good map. I highly recommend downloading it. It was something I always wanted to make/play, a castle portraying life in the ol' castle. This had huge ammounts of great eye candy, including some I invented.
Playability: 5
I thouroughly enjoyed this map. It was a treat to watch and play.
Balance: 5
I'm just giving it a 5 so it doesn't screw up the average score. I can't really judge balance for free build.
Creativity: 5
Totally unique, nothing before like it.
Map Design: 5
If I could give it a 6, I would. It was a beautifully designed city and castle with tons of eye candy everywhere. You could just explore to find new stuff.
Story/Instructions: 4
Good instructions. The story is now existant. Its pretty interesting, but it doesn't drag me into the map. |

Wow! This map is a very good map that has lots of eye candy! There is one thing I would like to know: how do you make the drawbridge without using the gatehouse???
Overall: This is a very good map thats worth trying out.

SUPERB MAP!!!
Review:
Playability: 5
I CAN Judge the playability because I've had a lot of fun beating Knights, Mounted Knights And Monks hundreds at a time into the ground with the F1 Command. The castle can withstand alot so you should make the invasions pretty rough...
Balance:
Can't judge. 5 Just to make the overall score good.
Creativity: 5
GREAT Creativity Here. I found out one of the castles secrets but I won't tell :)
Map Design: 5
Hmmmm... I dunno.. How about... ANOTHER 5! Exelent work here!
Story / Instructions: 5
I don't know about the story but great instuctions. A five but just barely. |

I think that this is a really good map, but I think that there are some things that you maybe could do a bit better.
I gave Playability a 4 because you gave the map everthing already, and I think that a map that gives someone everything at the beginning is really kinda boring, like there is nothin' to look forward to.
Balance 4: I think that this could've been improved a bit because in this course you have a fort that is a bit hard to invade.
Creativity 5: This course is very creative with the eye candy. It makes the course look really good.
Map Design 5: This has gotten a 5/5 for the eye candy. Good job!
Story/Instructions 4: The story didn't really grab and make me interested, but near the end of the story, it got a more interesting.
A very good map all 'round.
P.S.: I couldn't have done a better map than you. |

It was a really good map, but how did you make a drawbridge without a gatehouse? Please share this piece of info. |

Ill tell you, just ma e a gatehouse with a drawbridge, next, delete the gatehouse with the deletion tool for trees-rocks-nature things-etc, leaving the drawbridge alone without gate
