You've made it past the dock with minimal casualties. Your idiotic idiot-rescueing quest has taken off. As your small army marches, a small patrol party finds you and takes off! You chase the patrol, hoping they will lead you to Ilkwor, and eventually you come to a river with 2 boats. To make a long story short, the boats end up going down different riverways. You eventually arrive at Ilkwor's gates. Ilkwor--The huge gates sport great towers and wooden ramparts. The men are dug in at the gates, and a small party of men are waiting for you at the entrance. You hear the screams of tortured victims, and the constant picking of forced labour. To save some men for the final assault, you decide to attack with only your half of the army. Hiding behind a rock, you plan the siege.
---second part of Ilkwor trilogy. If this is too easy or too hard, please tell me.
This game was tough! It was real hard to eliminate the Mangonels on the big tall towers. And, I had to try again since one of my shields accidentally moved forward and was in range of the mangonels. Although it was difficult, i still love it!
You have several options that you can take. Attack from the sides or just charge in at the front. You can use the shields to protect your melee troops or use your ranged troops to take out the other ranged troops. It's definitely playable.
The balance is not a 5 because, like I said, it was hard to take out the Mangonels. I'm not sure but I think that changes the balance.
You were definitely creative in this map and the campaign, too. I hope there's more to come.
I think the creative score speaks for itself.
Map Design: 5
For sure you're no amateur. I liked the rocks near the mountains and especially the "mine-looking things" or the prisons in the mountains.
Well, the story could have been a bit longer but a four nonetheless.
Overall, I like this map alot and will play again ;). Are there any more Ilkwor prison chapters to come?
