Do you have a buddy you play Co-op with? Then give this one a try, where another team of two awaits battle on the other side of the river. A challenge for any experienced player, resources and space are limited. Strategic defence and offense a must! If you want you can always play 1 on 1 multiplayer if you don't have teamwork in mind. Works okay 1 on 1 AI skirmish but its not suggested, as the enemy will congregate at the base of your foothills where they can be picked off easily. Have fun!
With the dryest season in years, the great Euphrates river in the highly disputed crusader county of Edessa has receded, creating fertile flood plains below the magnificent waterfalls. A scout spots the lush green plains and abundant stone deposits uncovered by the lowering waters, and soon two nearby crusader parties rush to the scene to gather much needed supplies. Still too unstable to build upon, they quickly raise encampments on the nearby hills. Arabian forces have also discovered the lands, and they too have erected two encampments. Niether can come to share such a bountiful opportunity, and a once peacefull yet unstable truce will break...who will win this battle on the Euphrates?
is this that the map can be only play at LAN??Other players will'nt biuld castles like that. People talks about Fredrk, Sheriff ai. where can i download them?????

utility programs...
map isn't so great, and wouldn't set the keeps so close to each other... you can never ever play it with AI's.

William, you can play an AI by simply placing 1 keep on either side of the river. 1 on 1 LAN works good too.
Mincy, you can download the AI's in the "Utility Programs" section of this site.
I'm thinking maybe I should have placed more stone near the keeps. Please try the map is its intended and let me know of anything I can improve. Any feedback welcome

It's great that ur maps are really detailed. they're perfect for multiplayers. i like this map. The concept of the river fork that divides the two teams with equal resources. As u pointed out that ai's could also work in this map if played with only one exluding the others. But playing against only one Ai's is usually pretty easy. U could just say that this map workes best on LAN.

Thanks Duc Cambert! I wasn't expecting a 5 on this one, most people don't want to take teamwork to this level. I tried to place the opposing keeps far enough apart that archers can't stiffle the keeps, but not so far that the occasional putrid cow, or mangonel can't give the enemy a hard time. Probably works best when one teammate defends the flood plains while the other defends the resources at the riverbanks near the keeps.
