Build on Stronghold v1.2
-- Notes: This map started out with no plan, no ideas at all. I was merely bored. However, In the middle of making the map I had some ideas come to me that I'd like to play out as a small campaign.
While this is only a Free-build, think of it as an introduction. The story-line will not be very realistic, but what the heck.. it's a game! So, let our story begin.
-- Story Line:
Born into life in the lower ranks of an Anglo-Saxon estate you; Osfrid Wyre are quickly sold off by your family as a slave to pay a debt to the Lord of the estate. The majority of your youth was spent closely in the ranks of Knights and your Lord who seemed to have an odd fondness for you. While at times over worked you where fed decently and had interest in Kingdom matters. After several long years of services you've grown into a Man, educated into now rank of shire-reeve to collect taxes in your kings interest. After remaining in services by free will you find yourself ironically spoiled by the life you where to take into slavery.
Now a 28 year old shire-reeve life begins to harden as conflict between neighboring estates build. In fear of soon coming war with the Visigoths your Lord has no choice but to send you off into the far corners of Wales to begin a new fresh settlement to insure that the Saxon's continue. The goal is simple, locate a suitable place to build a a town hall. Stock up on as much coin and food as possible. As no doubt, you will need them.

Look for an actual mission in this storyline very soon.
Wow, the minimap and terrain look great! Good job on that.
But the trees look very thick. You should place some trees then let little ones grow so it gets a thinner look on the minimap ;)
Other than that, I might download, I like some nice scenery ;)

First map? If so it's great to have yet another designer here. Not bad for a first either.

Thank You for the comments. While it's not directly my first map, it is the first one I've posted!
I'm also using the tree advice on my next map. Thanks again!
