Diary of Bruce Green:
His First attack has failed.
We trudged for days to get to the mountains. Curse that Rat! Curse that Rat! He’s getting stronger and madder, although still quite thickheaded. We have been driven out of our homes by the nefarious rat, after he destroyed his “Allies” in one quick stroke. We have fled to our mountain outpost. The king has been held to ransom, yet his captors want not gold, but iron. They come from the desert, where weapons were scarce. If we gain the ransom, the king can get rid of the Rat. However in the meantime we must hold against the rats army. The pig fled with his brutal macemen, who are now bandits and will no doubt attack us too. We must gather the Iron! First we must clear it of Wolves and destroy the rats army. Holding the bride across the river is essential. We are outnumbered 10-1 but will fight, and we will have victory.
“Here comes the rat. I can see, um a spearmen, nothing else”. Everyone collapsed laughing as someone shouted” There is the army” As gazed in fear at the army before them I felt something in the pit of my stomach. It seemed to tell me that there would be no more laughter for a long time, if we ever did live long enough to be able to do so…..”Take steady aim, FIRE”
Designer’s notes: Before beginning the game, pause and look at the map. Much of the scenery and terrain will be destroyed by the rats army. I advise you to not start mining until the rat has been dealt with as it will prove too distracting. DO NOT PLAY ON EASY, IT IS MAINLY DESIGNED FOR HARD, OR NORMAL AND VERY HARD. his map can take quite a while. Expect to finish after more than half an hour.
Let the battle begin!
This is a nice map, your hills and rivers are nice and castle deisgn is cool.

Wonderfully hard and long. Makes it a joy to play.
Balance: 4
The balance is pretty good, I just think that being able to make so many troops kinda ruins it.
Creativity: 5
Wonderful! I loved the mine, the castle entrance and walkway. I also liked the castle design and fountain.
Map Design: 4
The map had a great design on the back, but I didnt like the scattered birches in front. The river also was not very well detailed.
Story/Instructions: 5
Wonderful story. I liked it and it made sense
Additional Comments: Great map! I just hope next time you put some more effort into the river and dont scatter trees like you did with the birches.

Yeah, It is odd how sometimes when you enter the scores on a review something different to what you meant comes up when you submit. That has happened to me before too.
Dragons Rider, take a look at your review of Carreg Cennen by WarLord Designs. Maybe that happened to you there?
