This is the first part of my campaign it is played on a tiny map and it is at a very easy level so a good map for beginners.
It is ment as a sort of a remake of the original campaign you will have to gather resources before enemey forces arrive.
This is indeed a very small, easy map, using just but a few simple items, simular to Mission One in the game's orginial campaign. The map is clean with well rounded edges. A few wolves run around that have to be dealt with and near the end, a small force of spearmen show up to try to spoil the party. In this, it is Well Ballanced in that there is just enough forces avaliable to meet the chalange of the game. There is just one fatal flaw...
In order to win, you must collect 38 Meat and 84 Wood Planks by Jul. 1236. Unfortunately, the game is programed for an Automatic Loss in Aug. 1235, 11 months before you are allowed to win. The goods that are aquirred, even after you have collected over the amount needed, are not checked off as being completted. This can be fixed by making the Win Line take effect on a date that is before the automatic Lose Line.
But as it is, because of this programing error, it is impossible to win this scenario, possibly causing a Beginner Player, of the kind that this map was designed for, to lose intrest in this game through shear frustration over a defect that he or she might not even understand or attempt to fix.
Lesson to be learned: Be sure to Play Test your scenarios before uploading them for others to play.

Very simple scenario. Far too easy. On the first try I had reached victory conditions long before the game ended. Just had to wait out the timer.
The troop balance was good. If you make a mistake with the wolves early on, you could easily pay for it when the spearmen arrive.

A really simple scenario, good for beginners.
The playability is good, and the game is well balanced: the wolves are a little threat that can take the player focused on its objectives; near the end, the sparemen are a surprise that can ruin the player job, if not well managed.
The map is not entirely used, maybe a different keep location would be better to use all space available.
