A sword is raised high, about to decapitate a bound and kneeling prisoner. For the hopeless, terrorized looks of those about to die with no hope of rescue, the piles of bodies or the grins on the troops faces as they participate and looked on are the worst acts of systematic bestiality. The Mahora's slaughter of the captive population of Rea saw such savage events. Rather than deal with the hundreds of troops who had surrendered, the Mahoras decided to systematically exterminate them. A chilling order to the troops read: "All prisoners of war are to be executed". Marched to a river, the prisoners were then surrounded by enemy troops then slaughtered. Screams cut through the forest and those who fled would stagger across the river only to be hit by arrows from behind.
When the city's fall seemed immenent, some of the nearby villagers created a small island of sanity. Many of them arming themselves, preparing for their last stand against the invaders who seem to surround the area from all sides. A fight to the last. The kingdom of Rea, popular for its trade and it's fertile plains and your long time ally has fallen. A week after, a village of your kingdom nearest to Rea is attacked. You stand almost paralyzed by the wave of anger and revulsion that sweeps over you. Finally you decide to build a stronghold in an attempt to repell and retaliate. You plan to attack all four of the enemy outposts. Meanwhile the population of your kingdom is resettled. Put your plans in action.

Playability: 5
Very playable indeed. Then again most Skirmish maps are.
Balance: 5
Well balanced. Each Crusader has a similar proportion of land to work with. 1vs1vs1vs1vs1 Balances well. But you can make an unbalanced game with 3vs2, 4vs1 etc...All challenging a great fun.
Creativity: 4
I have seen similar maps before, but still worth playing, and the short download time. The narrative is interesting
Map Design: 5
Although the placings appear close together, this works mainly through the lack of resources other than oasis, small deposits of ore and stone. All AI's have sufficient room to complete their individual castles.
Story/Instructions: 4
Do you need a story with a skirmish? Long too. Try to be brief, lol. No seriously, very creative with the written brief.
Additional Comments:
A highy playable map, certainly great for online gaming too. Download and add it to you game files.
