This was a good Invasion map with a few minor things that could be altered to make it an even better scenario.
I found the play of the map fairly easy even though invasions were coming in on a regular basis. With the amount of resources available and the trade options so large, it was fairly easy to build up a strong army and defeat the enemy prior to any real major damage.
The balance of the map was also as above. Although it was easy, there were some interesting events that kept the player on their toes. I would suggest that it be played out on HARD settings to make it a good challenge.
A few bits of eye candy and the amount of wood that had to be cleared out adds to the creativity of the map. The layout made for a good play.
The design of the map had a couple of annoying flaws. The sign post basically destroyed your chances of receiving any troops from the woods. They were killed in most cases before I could get over and move them out of harms way. Some of the map texture would need to be smoothed out and a bit more in the way of rolling hills would certainly add to the look of the map. Over all a nice design.
The story gives away a great deal of the events to unfold and makes it a little bit to easy to prepare for.
All in all, a nice scenario that could be an excellent scenario with a few adjustments. The goals of the scenario made it to easy to finish the map before the final invasions and therefore, I was never really threatened. I was able to reach victory before the intended massive invasions.
