The last march was forseen by Merlin the Wizard, loyal adversarie of Arthur. The prophecie he spoke of was to be passed down to generations to come, and people all over England were hiding inside their hut's as a terrible storm arose in the same style as of which Merlin conjured the storm over the saxons as to protect Arthur.
Word had travelled to the king and soon the whole army of England was prepared to fight, the King had quoted Merlin in saying 'I shall perish, I shall be burn't. I will not succumber to the evil that exceeds the lands of England. They will make for the shores, this is were my power is most.', Merlin died soon after on his deathbed.
The prophecie withholds the judgement of the victors of this soon to be war.
" Trial and error is not an option! Treasure your lifes with prestige and honour! You are worth more than the scum that sail for our shores, as Merlin watches down on us we shall do him justice! Merlin had succumbered to his death, you shall not succumber to your death - especially today!
The evil ones who terrorise the lands every passing minute are soon to perish! You will put them out of their misery, fill their hearts with the cold hand of steel. The meaning of this war is not to die for your country, but to make those opposing bastards to die for theirs!" As the King commanded the army to march for the shores of the invasion point he sat back, poured a glass of wine and thought about Merlin.
Years later only a small force of the enemy's elite troops still stood but with retreat, they had taken refuge in a nearby meadow overlooked by the sea. The King sent for a probe to the meadow and to no surprise the scouts never returned.
It was obvious to the King now that the last of the enemy's elite soldiers were living there, and so he sent what was left of his army to the meadow to see the inevitable happen.
Side notes **
I decided to put an original twist to this map, and I think I have ^.^
If your looking for a fun, extremely short and hilarious map - then try using 166 crossbowmen or 200 macemen, it looks funny if you charge the line of defence.
If you want a tiny challenge then try to restrict yourself to 1000 points, then 750, then 500, and so on. The lowest amount of points that I've used is 100 points ^.^
