Eureka! You found it! The fabled Fountain of Youth! Where DeSoto failed, where Cortez failed, where Pizarro failed, you have succeeded! You are the greatest Conquistador of them all! Wait till the history books find out about this!
But don't start dancing in the streets paved with gold just yet. A rival Conquistador, Sebastion Nicholas Alberto Karlos de Escambria (you like to call him "Snake" because it irritates him) has his eye on your discovery. He killed the messenger you sent to the King telling of your find and now intends to come and claim it for himself. Befitting his usual modus operendi, he has hired some local tribes to harass you until he arrives with his main force.
From experience, you know there are only two ways to take care of him: either raise enough gold to pay him off; or gather the materials needed to build your own stronghold. But your small band of troops would be no match for him.
Either way, you're going to need the help of the strange tribe of blue-eyed natives you found here. But will they? They seem to think you're some kind of god, and the welcoming party they threw when you arrived certainly expressed their feelings of warmth towards you.
Either way, you're going to have to act fast. The Snake is coming!
About: This is the fourth in a series of missions taking place around the Fountain of Youth. They use the same map and are designed to be small, short, and played in sequence. Add the scores together to measure your success.
Many thanks to the following individuals for allowing me to steal their ideas:
Inquizative, for waterfall design;
Kolja Silvani, for secret passages;
Kester, for fountain design and irrigation.
