Hi this is my first map.I'm quite pleased with it,as the brief says this is a single player invasion map.It took a while to get it right but should be fun to play, alter as you please ,but bear in mind it is a remade campaign map.sorry there is no mini map-but if you know the campaign missions well need i say more. enjoy.
I know this is your first map and you are new, but in the future please don't submit premade maps-especially by other designers. I don't want to discourage you as you have still made an effort and altered the map other some other stuff.
You can come visit the forum if you need advice on map making from experienced designers and read some of the many helful tutorials.
Welcome again, and please take into consideration the above ^

Welcome lord dredde,
I agree with what has been said by younghappy,
we understand that you are new but please understand that this site is all about creating our own work.
We want to encourage new designers to go on and design their own maps and after a while become masters at it. Remember if you made something you were proud of you wouldnt like it if someone took it and used it as theirs would you?
I hope your decide to make some of your own maps, use the campaign and other maps to inspire you, besides I'm sure you can design a better looking map than what the campaign has to offer. :)
Welcome again, dont hessitate to ask for advice and most of all enjoy the site and one of our favourite games.

Hi, folks,
Just wanted to take moment of your time to point out that not absolutely everyone who likes the game enjoys mapmaking - I'm one of them. ;)
Quite while back, there was one map that I really liked. So I contacted the guy that made it and asked permission to modify it while giving him full credit for the original. He agreed with no problem. While I did make a few superficial changes to the map itself, most of what I did was to make sweeping changes in the scenario. In the end, it resembled little of the gameplay of the original map. I played it many times myself but never got around to uploading it and somehow misplaced it during a hard-drive change-over.
My point is simply this. I see nothing wrong with taking a pre-made map and modifying it while giving credit to whomever made it (which he did) and getting permission (which is a moot point in this case because he could not).
As long as that procedure is followed, doing so seems very reasonable to me. Just remember that some of us just simply aren't interested in being creative artists. :)

That's a good point and I agree with you. As long as you ask permission (and get it) and make sure you give credit to the original map maker.
