The King's empire is growing rapidly, and only has one area left to be developed. Go to the tiny
peninsula by the sea, and make the King proud.
This freebuild is designed on a small area, so the player can get practise building with limited space
Always remember to lay out the buildings carefully so as to conserve space, and remember to olace
resource buildings in the right spot to get as many on one site as possible (at least two at every site)
The signpost is at the back of the forest, so be careful.
I hope you enjoy playing this map. If you want to let me know what you think of it, make a comment or
review at Stronghold Heaven (the place you downloaded this).
Special thanks to Ionait for testing this map for me.
Playability: this is an interesting scenario, simply because not many maps are set at the small size. I have tinkered around on this for a few days now and still quite enjoy creating a small, well defended castle.
Balance: a 3 score sounds about right, all the materials are there for you and whilst the map may be small, you can accumulate a lot on the stockpile given the reduced time it takes to deposit things there. Would consider giving this a 4 if it wasn't as easy, but then what are freebuilds all about? Tricky one to score.
Creativity: The idea of a small map to sharpen your skills in placement is a good one, and you have to be careful here. It would be interesting to see just how big a settlement you can grow in the space provided.
Map Design: Again, fine, pleasant little corner somewhere that needs occupation, a little use of landscaping tools, works well.
Story/Instructions: Not much in content but I don't think this matters, the map is there for one purpose. Still nice to see some effort though, freebuilds need not be ignored here.
This is a fine little map, no real faults at all. Try it, you may quite like the idea.
