Ynis Coinean (Gaelic for Rabbit Island, but that name was already taken) is a free standing scenario, set on an island linked to the mainland by a large bridge. You have been chased out of your home country and found a quiet place to settle down. Busy making a place for your people and god to stay and prosper you are discovered by the local Lord who will do his best to get rid of your settlement, sending in troops to destroy you . Now is the time to defend and gather weapons. You know this is your final chance, for if you are driven back into the sea there will be no place left to run.
NOTE: Even though these games are labelled as Invasion maps, they concentrate at least as much, if not more on the Economic challenges.
Tips: - Beware: the invasion marker is not accurate - Ignore your defenses and you will be in for a rude awakening. - Keeping your people happy will help
Watch out! Keep your troops away from the ends of the bridge if you give them anything other than a stand ground stance. They will whittle away the very end of the bridge and then nothing can cross it. You have to resort to your last save if this happens. Other than this I liked the map and had good fun playing it.

Yeah, it's always a must to pick out one of the older maps! And this is a special creation by Jayhawk offering a high score of playability. I promise you a thrilling scenario, and you are not aware what might happen if you are too careless ... nevertheless, there's a lot to do to fulfill all the objectives, so don't get frustrated if a devastating huge firestorm should destroy your last hope of successfully finishing this challenging scenario! Yes, please keep your pikemen (on aggressive stance) off of the bridge, otherwise it won't be passable anymore, and this is of vital essence!
Great work and highly recommendable!
