This is eight-player skirmish for Stronghold Crusader.I have added stones and iron between the players, so that's why you better play it with teamate next to you.It works perfectly with AIs - tested 7 times.Enough recourses to smash the enemy, and destroyed village in the center, where now is only the zoo with the lions :) Story in the map.Comments and reviews required!I would like a review from AZ ViTrAzHas.Now, N-JOY!

For the crown
Another good 8 player map is created by The Joint, basically I don’t spend much time with skirmish maps (Custom scenarios are more thrilling at the moment), I couldn’t resist to struggle against many AIs once more. The fight was great once again.
Playability: 5
The keep layout was centrifugal; therefore, the creative map center witnessed many deaths. 1 VS 7 seemed a bit too long so I asked Emir to be my ally. These were the selected enemies: two Saladins, two Richards, Pig and Frederick. AI started with more gold than I did and I had to develop fast as both Richard and Saladin started the hostilities. Emir was heavily attacked, too: I helped him as I could but later Pig’s macemen were a bit too much for the Arabian ally. I was left alone against six strong enemies. Luckily, at that time I had enough money and goods to construct a huge castle, with lots of towers and defended the North East corner. Small contingents of 20 macemen and 40 swordsmen took out Richards easily. Now the real battle begun: this time I trusted my knights. My cavalry was more than 300-saddled troops (150 knights); it soon destroyed both Saladins’ economics and defense units and swordsmen did the rest easy job. Later I terrorized Pig with the endless charges of my knights and soon he fell to his knees like the rest. A big force of crossbowmen and pikemen defeated Frederick. There were great battles during the mission: I managed to kill more than 6000 enemy troops. AIs tried their best; they did not have any problems with your map. Great work!
Balance: 5
Great job balancing: the map was perfect to play various types of missions. The building space was enough to complete defensive structures and have a high population inside the castle (Mine was over 250). You spread the resources very well either: every player could choose rather use the nearest reserves or travel further and fight for them. Oases were big and fertile enough to supply many people, but the farms had to be guarded strongly. Wood was easy to get in the beginning, too. Overall, the map offered a nice layout of resources and a big building space to fight against many enemies.
Creativity: 5
There creative ideas throughout the map: invisible rocks were used to create the amusing zoo with lions inside (They saw cruel deeds). Ruins and rubbles filled the map like you mentioned in the story. I noticed the clever use of the editor tools, too: the river filled the map greatly and I liked the idea of placing marsh near the center. Those two features blend really well. Furthermore, you used the gray template map that the player could finally play with a different color besides red, which is as dry as dust. The minimap had a nice picture, which caught my eye. In summary, everyone can find various small creative aspects in this map. Bravo!
Map Design: 5
The whole map looked like a clearing; I really do not know why I got this feeling. I would have given 4.5 for the design, since there is no such rating in this category it goes up to 5s. The map looked realistic: it had many details. The oases looked very natural, a mix of different types of scrub, trees and rocks gave the result. I also liked that the landscape was covered in scrub and rocks. The small river looked great, when it ended in the marsh. The zoo might have had more different animals, but still you have worked a lot. The map didn’t contain fabulous details, but it was designed very well, and blended with the thrilling playability neatly.
Story/Instructions: 3
Sadly, but I found the story too short even for a skirmish map. The narration explained the basic idea of the map and you’ve added short notes. Maybe a more detailed description about the village and the lords should do the trick. Don’t take me wrong but a longer story is always a plus even if it has mistakes. Nobody’s perfect.
Additional Comments:
Another good 8 player map designed for various types of playing and it can be easily used for a nice multiplayer match. An interesting center of the map and the gray color are big pluses to this work.
Sincerely,
