Left in Ruins.
April, 17th , 1188
Even though Cristoff had endured the massive invasions of the infidel and Count Emicho’s brutal onslaughts Cristoff was victorious. He felt a great sensation of euphoria overwhelm him even after he knew that he could not stay in what was once a majestic castle. Cristoff had two choices, to stay in Asia Minor and try and rebuild his castle or return to Germany too require more necessities. He knew that if he stayed Arab forces would return for his head so he decided too go to Germany. Thus Cristoff gather what was left of his militia as well as his rations and set off.
Through the Alps.
November, 9th , 1190
Cristoff’s army greatly decreased do to the harsh Winter weather and lack of food as they climbed up the snow covered mountains. His men were growing more weary each step they toke. Finally as Cristoff climbed over the next peak he seen a castle and thought “Food!” his army on the other hand had thought “shelter, warmth, and rest!” So they descended and got closer they began to notice that this lord was cruel. For he had decapitated heads on his Walls. A decision was made to kill the lord and his army.

The playability was too easy. I had victory over this map mostly because I picked off the enemy with just three fire ballistas. I started with six portable shields, then I turned them into fire ballistas. In the end, I had nearly all my troops still alive. But it was still fun.
The balance was good, but I still had too many troops left alive. I think there should have been less troops to attack. The creativity was good. I liked it very much. The map design was interesting; the whole terrain was boulders...or the mining stone. It really gave a feeling that the mountaineous terrain WAS snow. So that fit together with the story nicely. The story was good. You said you are running out of ideas for stories, but that one was pretty creative. Good work.
