Your Castle sits at the mouth of an important trade route. You are to defend it to the last man. Once the enemy invasions have been crushed you are to take The Castle across the river in order to restore peace in the region. This last task will not be easy as it is defended well. Expect the enemy to start attacking as soon as you arrive at your Castle. The King has supplied you with large some of money, provisions, and some weapons. Be prepared for everything.
Playability: 5. I had to restart a few times in order to survive the early invasions, and develop the economy. It was very long, and takes a long time just in order to be able to collect a lot of stone or iron... During the invasions, forget the iron. I was facing the late invasions when I finaly happened to start collecting iron and stone in quantity. After the last invasion was over, I just had to put up a huge and strong army to invade the well defended enemy castle, kill all forces and the king. Ended up with 56% of casualties.
Balance: 4. Very strong invasions, which gives you only a little time to dig moat - no choice, you have to - and to collect wood to produce crossbows and bows in quantity. The strenght of the attacks makes it hard to expand.
Creativity: 3. You are stuck on one side of the map, no possibility to expand and have to exploit the closest ressources to the castle.
Map design: Nice enemy castle, good disposition on the map but quick landscape design... Map could improve a lot. It's not detailed enough...
