The Citadel, Pure stone and flesh guarding this structure from you and the enemy lord. To an attacker, it's alot of stone and flesh to clean up after the battle but to a defender, it's alot of stone and flesh gurading you from the enemy. Will you be the dreadful attacker and slaughter everything that moves inside of this castle, or the heroic defender forming his last stand against this huge army. The choice is yours in The Citadel.
Authors Notes:
This map is extremely fun if played on Normal, when I played I had about 25 archers and crossbow men combined!!
Playability: 3
Playability was a big disapointment I don't know why but when I started the map on Normal all the engineers made camps and the siege began but none of the other troops attacked even when the siege machines stoped to throw rocks the AI stood idle.I think that there are lots of walls and that stops the enemy from advancing.I even tried it on V.Hard and something even stranger happened the engineers went infront of the castle and just stood there I have no idea why.Everyone was killed and there were no siege equipment. However I played it as an attacker and it was very exciting however this glitch drags the overall score.
Balance: 3
The balance was also off.The fight was in my favour all the time and on Normal there wasn't a fight at all.Again the attacking position was interesting and thats why the score was lifted.
Creativity: 4
The castle is like any other and I think 5 should be given to an unique and outstanding castle.Don't get me wrong I love the design of your castle but it's not outstanding.
Map Design: 5
The nature was Ok It looked peaceful and I liked it a lot.A deserved 5 ;)
Story/Instructions: 4
Well there weren't instuctions or word doc. and the story in the game pretty much covered the story here about stones and flesh that is.
Additional Comments:
I tried the map a couple of times but it just didn't work with me.It's a very interesting map but this AI issue just gives it the bad look.
