You can still remember the old man's face, such a pale, frail face for the ruler of a vast kingdom. The heavy gem-encrusted golden crown set upon the wrinkled and desiccated head almost seems to be crushing him beneath it's weight. His once blue eyes, now milky white staring straight ahead, blindly. He had told you that the fort at Orange Hills was a great gift, with it's unusual but rich iron deposits, and marshy farmland close to the raised fort. Unfortunately all gifts come with a price, and the fort happens to be on the border with a powerful kingdom, a jealous kingdom. Less than a month after you are gifted the fort at Orange Hills the king dies of old age, the only heir his grandson, who is still too young to take the throne. In his place is a loyal steward, who declares that all loyal provinces must provide an offering of weapons and armor to the new king once he accepts the throne, to outfit the imperial army for a move to once again expand the kingdom. However, sensing weakness the neighboring kingdom makes it's move upon your border fort in an effort to claim the rich territory for itself.
Well it's taken me a while since I started this, but it's finally ready to be released. Most of the difficulty I had with the map was balancing it (my least favorite part), but thanks to several members of the SHH community I finally finished it :)
