I have given up on the Rebellion series (it is not going well at all), and have decided to create a new one. This one has you, a powerful lord in your home country, forced to retreat to the northern swamplands. From there, you must collect the supplies necessary to move to a new location. Disease, wolves, bandits and invasions from minor tribes (The Rat) will plague your settlement.
Hints:
1. Build your economy quickly.
2. Make sure you are careful when gathering resources: gather too much too quickly and bad things will happen.
3. Bandits will come at you when your population is high enough.
4. When you collect enough spears and bows, the invasions will stop.
It didn't take me too long to create this map: I was lucky. The events worked out perfectly in order to give you a great challenge.
Good luck!
WARNING! Do not play on the Easy level, unless you want a challenge. Plague and Tree Fungus happen immediately when the game starts.
Playability: 2.5
I found it VERY difficult to get started, as almost everything happened at the beginning. Once I got some walls up, I found that it was very difficult to continue, because the plague had decreased my happiness level and the people had left the castle. Also, the wolf attacks and plague happened far too often.
Balance: 3.5
Nothing much to say here, it was okay.
Creativity: 3.5
Fairly creative. Castle built on a swamp. Not much. *Flashback to Monty Python and the Holy Grail* Try to add more features in your maps.
Map Design: 2.5
I can see how the swamp could have taken a while to create, but all that was on the map was just swamp.
Story/Instructions: 3
Vague story behind it, seeing as its the beginning of a series it should have more of a background.
Additional Comments:
Spend a bit more time, and try planning things, it helps. Space events out more.

Review of Lord William1234’s Part 1: Rising again Ch. 1
Summary- Overall score 3.8
A very good, invasion scenario with quite challenging economic goals. Well worth the download. I really enjoyed it :-)
Playability: 4.0 – Excellent.
Positives: I always enjoy being able to build my own fort and settlement. So this is just my kind of map. The well-formed invasions kept me worried. The first one arriving so as to make me fearful, as I had not enclosed my keep yet. I had to downsize my settlement at the end to claw my way up to the meat target.
Negatives: I did have to crank up the speed at the end as I was heading for the economic goals.
Balance: 3.5 – Very Good
I won first time on Hard but I felt well challenged especially in the early stages. I had to be very careful not to over hunt the game.
Creativity: 3.5 – Good.
There was nothing much out of the ordinary. The story and the landscape fitted well together (See Story/Instructions). See also Map Design.
Map Design: 4.0 – Excellent
Some might say this was just all swamp but it was well made swamp with a well-balanced amount of trees and game. The amount of firm land for building on seemed judged nicely.
Story/Instructions 4.0 – Excellent
There was a very good story in the site and in-map. There was a nice short story in a Word file in the zip. It went well with the map. Some hints for players were provided. Also a mini-map was provided to help players judge whether to DL or not.

Thank you author. I had a most enjoyable game (as I had with Ch.2 which I played first). I am looking forward to more chapters. Well done :) .
