Lord Kargoth has arrived at his new castle. After fending off an invasion by the Horde, Lord kargoth had decided that he needed to relocate to a more defensive position. He now asks you his boldest and bravest of knights to return to the north to the ruins of old Kargoth Castle, and to rebuild the stronghold as best you can, and to use it as an advanced defense and warning outpost. You must leave immediately and bolster your defenses as rumors of the Horde regrouping have been heard.
The story reminds me of the Stronghold 2 one... Nothing special again, a basic map, I think you should balance the invasions. Anyway I think it's good :)

eh, crab :D I tried your two maps one after another and mistaked it with the other... no matter I think it's ok again, although didn't made even a small village, but a small collection of huts... just as an advice it will be better if you add some eyecandy... most recommended for freebuilds ;)

I imitated wolve's castle from SHC the one with the point and the 8 square towers =), I might submit screenie on forums. It's a nice map, but as hitman said, could use some eyecandy.

KK thanks guys it helps to know what to work with. the second map was intended as the destroyed castle that they had moved off from to where my first map is. (if that makes sense) On the second map i limited the eye candy to allow people complete freedom building whatever they could dream up. I actually used up all the trees and small stones I could place on that map. I will dream up some eye candy and rework the second map some.

Go ahead ;) Just using the 1000 rocks' trick would make it a way better... Take a look at the following link => http://stronghold.heavengames.com/downloads/showfile.php?fileid=3822
This explains how the trick works, quite easy and simple... if you don't have time to place 1000 rocks there are two maps with 1000 rocks already on them in the utility section... I don't obligate you to use it xD but using a low wooden wall (from farms) in Crusader would rise the interest of the map ;) ~~~~~~ And if you add a bit snow you will perhaps do a masterpiece... I know it's not much basic, but for me, it was enough to look one of the AZ Vitrazhas' maps via the map editor ;) And I don't write these novels just like that, but I saw you have ambition and potential to make maps good enough even for the most caprice persons :)

Also, there are people on the forums who will give you advice. And there are articles about eyecandy, I posted one yesterday, in the stronghold scenario design forum.
