In the spring of 1179, the Wolf took his entire army to invade the Christian southlands of Umbira. Your scouts report that his home castle is left virtualy un-defended! This is the opportunity you have been waiting for all your life, to scourge Castle Altan of the evil influences of the Wolf. The Arch Bishop of York learns of your quest and loans you enough money to raise a small force to take the castle. In return, he asks you to help spread the message of the church to the heathen of Castle Altan's inhabitants. You must build a great cathedral to the glory of God and 25% of the population must be converted by the missionaries. You must also tithe 5000 gold back to the church treasury. All the while, be wary of pagan enemy troops from the Wolf's allies who will try to stop you any way they can. The Wolf will eventually return to reclaim Castle Altan. You must be prepared for him. He will come seeking to devour you like a raging lion. Keep the faith and you will prevail over the forces of darkness.
Playability: During the play of this map, I realized that the first 30 minutes were spent fending off Wolves, which to me is annoying, since I hate them so much. Maybe, a little less wolves would speed the game up a bit. After conquering the castle it was time to build up population and resources, but I soon realized that an Invasion was upon me. So I got to 75 people and then Invasions started, then another and another and another, after the 3rd invasion I was down to 0 population which in my case, makes no sense. To me the time to next invasions needs to increased, When your pop goes down to 0 and you have to keep trying to defend against invasions, it makes no sense to continue, so I just stopped.
Balance: The balance is not good, because most of the beginning your fending off wolves and once you conquer the castle you don't have enough time to get your resources and people going. I had to get rid of some of the towers and walls around the keep just to see if I had villagers coming.
Creativity: Not bad, could've been a little better, around the Keep, which was a problem as far as visibility of villagers coming to your castle.
Map Design: I thought the design was good.
Story/Instructions: I read the story, so I give that a 4, because I really don't play this game to read a story.

I was passing by out of curiousity and noticed there was no minimap. So I took the liberty of adding the minimap. In the process I had to guess that the version used was v1.1 (the update form insists that the version is now added)
