Fanatic's Lady Of The Lake

Many years have passed rebuilding the castle since taking the land. Battles have come and gone, and you have always recovered with great success.
After the last destructive battle, over two years ago, everything is funally restored to its prior glory. Many lives have been lost throughout the hardship, but people are coming to the castle looking for both work, and protection.
The Lady Of The Lake has always given you the blessings of the Gods, and your armies shall rise again!
(NOTE: I'm also working on making this into a seperate economic level, should be ready soon!)

This is a very good map (it got me thinking twice before submitting a map;-)).It`s only dezatvantaje (to say so) is that you can`t build your own castle

Playability: This is a very well put together map. Playability is interesting, you can still build away if you wish even though the castle has already been built. However, the only down side to this is just that... the castle has been built! But that's all. It offers a fun scenario and you have room to expand if you wish.

Balance: Plenty of raw materials and open spaces to grow food crops, yet not placed in such a way as to be crude. Using V1.2 patch you can set a signpost and try to defend the castle (is this locked? Can't remember)
Creativity: This is a stunning piece of work. Not only is the castle beautifully rendered, the landscape and story all seem to fit in well.
Map Design: Terrain is generally good, nice to look at, but definitely 5 for the castle.
Story/Instructions: Again, very good. Nice and clear, easy to understand and a decent introduction to the map. Just because it's a freebuilt doesn't mean you don't need an introduction.
Overall, this map is, in my opinion, worth a download just to see the castle and the work that has gone into this by the author, who has already impressed me with his work. It offers ideas and inspiration to most. Okay, so not a 'proper' freebuild as such, but this is a splendid map nonetheless and should be promoted, hence the second review and rating to ensure it appears in some of the stats tables the site offers. Great work, let's have more from you!
Thanks for the compliments!

I wouldn't mind doing another economic map, perhaps something smaller again.
Like the Fanatic's Island map, it was designed to be as small as possible, very restricting. But even there, you can quickly flourish.
I'll think on it some more, but I want to do a non-freebuild map, just for the challenge.
This map is really well done, highly worth the download. Keep up the good work Fanatic, I am searching for more maps from you now...
