Playability: 2
Well, we control a poor army in order to kill the Enemy Lord, who is protected by some soldiers. In fact, I've made a quick assault, without a lot of strategy. Otherwise, we can easily kill all the enemies with the archers and the crossbow, so there is'nt any interest in these map, only if we do like me, that is to say by sending the pikemen and the swordsmen in the town without using before the archers or the crossbow. But, well, we just have to skit around the troops who protect the Lord, and to kill him quiteeasily. No real interest here...
Balance: 1.5
Where is the difficulty here ? Why do youput "Normal" ? Moving the archers and the
crossbow to the city is the only difficulty in the map. After, they automatically kill everybody, so we just have to conclude. Even making a wild attack against the castle, by sending directly the pikemen and the swordsmen (well, okay, if we send them in the swordsmen, we fail) toi the Lord works.
Creativity: 2
We just have to kill a Enemy Lord in a poor village. I think you can do abetter map about this concept, but, well, here, there's nothing interesting. So, "2" is a notevery generous from myself.
Map Design: 2.5
There's a river, some ruins, some slow hills and a marecage, so there's something in the design, but I think it's very quickly to do. The map isn't very beautiful,I think you must agree with that.
Story/Instructions: 1
No story... In a skirmishe map in "Stronghold Crusader", I could, if the map is very good in the other points, accept it, but, well, in "Stronghold", no, it's impossible. There's no story, so I can't give you a good point here. Quite logic...
Additional Comments:
I assume that you're a beginner. So, well, if it's the case, don't be disappointed by the review, I couldn't give a review more higher than that. If you want to do some other maps, just try to take more time in the realization of your next maps. And good luck !
