Although you have to achieve economical goals to win, your military tactics are priority. Just a little micromanagement to balance popularity, taxes and provision. And remeber, you wont be able to build a single woodcutter hut in this game. :)
Wood and hops can be bought.
Aggresive stance isnt the best silution for some units.
All action is outside the castle, so leave it to the chikens (basicaly, you just have to) and fear not to meet your enemy at the open field no matter where it appears - faster you will get there, better for you.
Fight smart and have fun.
Its my first try to make an invasion, critics welcome. :)
Add.
Check the South-West corner for your units. Didnt make a correct save, sorry. :)

A great map which tricks lots of the strengths of Crusader and forces the player to act very differently from the old-fashioned sitting in the castle counting the shootings. The mission is tuned perfectly in every aspect. The land is pure plain due to the concept of direct and timing-requesting combat. The nature looks erratic though very original and finely shaped.
A challenging cede beginning trains you in guerilla tactics.
Defending the fort you are given as least measures as possible. Not too few, though many players will find the level too difficult. There's many possibilities to loose the mission on every step. And only one way to win: Attack the invasions early and protect the buildings so widely spread around. Needed three saves.
The invasions will follow closely behind one another, in autumn 1119 the task will get harder with an additional invasion.
Edit: Ha, not seeing the own units at the start adds to the puzzling character of the map.

Hi The Animaal,
by the style of your latest map I have become interested in your skirmish creations and "maneuver warfare". Regarding "Knock knock" you mention six JPGs which I cannot call. (It says "This user account or file could not be located.") Do you mind sending them to me, please (e-mail in profile)?
