Playability: This map is great, a cracking little siege (maybe not so little) that accompanies the Castle of the Week write up by GillB. Tremendous fun, I have played this on both defender as the game defaults to when launching, and had equal pleasure attacking it. It's thoroughly enjoyable, because it's relatively simple and free from events, with emphasis again placed on your attacking tactics.
Balance: Choose your difficulty, decide if you want to defend or attack and press go... this lends itself to a manner of different skill levels and preferences. It's a really versatile map. Just enough pitch to ruin your day if attacking and what appeals to me is siegeing the castle with a fairly large number of crossbowmen and archers defending it. You're tactics here need to be slightly different, as the castle has no stairs in the Outer Ward. It's a bloodbath, it's pretty action-orientated and I love it!
Creativity: Combined with the write-up provided by Gill, this is another good introduction to a real castle. As far as the map is concerned, the layout is fairly accurate, as is the terrain. A good castle to choose, it transfers well to Stronghold and lends itself as a siege castle.
Map Design: Not bad, if a little rough around the edges. However, I know from previous downloads from Wraith that he has produced these castles to accompany the CoTW at very short notice. As I don't know what the circumstances are here, i'm not going to post too much opinion (Wraith, correct me if I am wrong). Concentrate on the siege and defending side and enjoy battling away. One good point is that, with it's slightly more simple design, the game runs a lot quicker, adding to the playability here.
Story/Instructions: Predominantly commenting on the write up here. As is always, well pitched to appeal to all levels of knowledge and even age, clear and interesting. Please take tie to read up on these CoTW links, they really do provide fascinating reading and a lot of effort goes into contributing to these for others.
Another great map, Wraith, another great write-up Gill. Read, download, then play!!!

Sulis you are right, and thank you. Im given less than a week to do these and usually put it off til the last day. Im also not the worlds best map maker, so you'll have to forgive me there. Thanks for your input. I'll try to keep next weeks as action packed as this. :)
