Story:
Arriving at The Port
“Capt’n! There be a strom head’n our way!” Skipper yelled to be heard over the cold damp sea wind. “ It be head’n towards us on Milanda’s Port side sir!”
“Alright skip! Hey you, Jim, go tell the people we be ship’n that’ is gonna get rough.”
“Yes Capt’n” Henry watched as Jim awkwardly walked to the hatch. “Damn greenhorn.” He whispered to himself shaking his head. Looking up Henry saw skip crawling down from the birds nest but was knocked off his feet when a rogue wave hit the port side of Milanda rocking the ship violently. Bolting up Henry called out “ Turn Milanda towards the storm! We be head’n to er heart!”
“yes sir!” came the muffled reply beyond the buffeting wind. The light thumps of boots hitting the deck made Henry look up to see a wave bigger than the last wash his old friend over the side. “Skipper!” no reply came. “Man over board! Everyone get the ropes!”
“Sir!”
“What is it Russ?”
“The wind be carry’n us to fast sir… Skipper would’ve drowned by the time we get to em.”
“True” Henry sighed, “Everyone, don’t be waist’n your time, he’ll be float’n in the sea by the time we get to em.” Watching his crew running around on the deck for a couple moments and seeing that no attention was on him, Henry slipped into his quarters away from everybody. Collapsed on his bed, and wept for his lost friend…

Authors notes:
The best map I have ever made in my life been working on it for the past two weeks trying to get it done so I could share it with all of you wonderful guys n' gals.
Comments and reviews always welcome hahaha
Hope you guys enjoy playing the map as much as I have making it.
Oh and if you want to make this an invasion or sieger map feel free but just make sure you give me credit ^_^ (The AI can acually get into the castle).
Hello mate I recently stumbled upon your map and since I'm making a port city at the moment I though I'd give it a closer look. I was really impressed by the overall design and map idea. So here is my review.
Playability: 5
In my opinion the playability is perfect here because there is a lot of space to expand and the player has many different options to explore. Even though it’s a freebuild and there aren’t any real threats I’m sure that the overall design is very well suited for an invasion or also a siege. I recommend this map for everyone who likes a “harbor-city” experience it carries the familiar seaside feeling.
Balance: 5
Well balance is something not very important in freebuilds. I can think of no reason why you should have something lower than 5 here as the raw materials were carefully placed as was the stockpile I guess you wanted the player to stretch at max. The map is quite balanced resourcewise.
Creativity: 5
This is something important to me and I'm not inclined to give perfect marks often, but it's a very unique idea perfectly planned and designed. Port cities are quite hard to build. You must give the effect that the city is around the water not the other way round. So I'm pleased to say it's a very exciting map and attention was paid to the details as well.
Map Design: 5
For me the map design is straight perfect a very realistic look with a lot of terrain features. The snow was also a good touch although I think it should have been more not just single tiles. Otherwise the map was very carefully created and it deserves a solid 5.
Story/Instructions: 5
The story is written in an interesting and realistic style. It ties really well with the map itself and deserves a solid 5 like the whole map.
Additional Comments:
All in all a very relaxing map it's also a great invasion map possibility. I urge you to keep designing as you have a good feel for the terraining.
