UPDATED 1
This update pays a little more time on map detail and also includes an extra 'historically correct' version of the Battle of Marshank along with the twisted storyline one.
The extra map includes the following features: Fewer defending troops, less starting gold, fewer purchasable troop types and smaller (but much stronger) invitations. This extra map should be near impossible.
Enjoy.
First off, thanks to ericgolf for the recommendation of the map PNG.
Secondly, this map is based of a book in the Redwall series. If you don't know what I'm talking about you can follow this link to the wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redwall#Plot_summary
Now, on to the map itself.
Martin the warrior seems to have meant what he said when he vowed to escape the life of slavery you gave to him and to take back his fathers sword, for now he has returned with an army. Guards must be awakened, armed and sent of to the walls. And by now, you also probably wish that those darn slave had finished your fortress before the escaped. Should history be proven correct, you and everyone in the fortress of Marshank will die, Martin will take back the sword and you'll be no more than a memory. And why should history prove correct? Defend Marshank at all cost!
Notes.
I've taken the liberty of further mutilating the story line of 'Martin the Warrior' by making it so he out numbers you, Badrang the Tyrant. There can, at any one time, be more than tree-hundred enemy units on the map, if you're running a computer that is both slow and old, be warned. You can also purchase a few more units for defence. I won't say now so as to make you plan while under attack (yes, I'm always this cruel). Also, it may be worth informing you that you can't build anything, it is a full out defence map. This is also my first Crusader map, so feedback is welcome as I would like future maps to be better than this one.
Have fun,
R.

Hi Russano, Have you ever used the Stronghold Map PNGer to make a minimap graphic? You can download it from the Utility Programs section. (you can then use the update button on this page to upload the new minimap graphic) [Edited on 01/17/10 @ 07:33 AM]

Playability: 4
WoooHoooooooooo playable map :D
So you will miss building ability and some troops recruitment too. Some of Arabians are able to be recruited...
Invasions with 500 troops in sum will attack you. Have fun with that. :D
Here you will not sleep :]
Be ready meet some action.
(^it writed last. so... dont have what to write here more.)
Balance: 4.5
Without navigation through the map you will not be able to defend yourself well enough. You have to see from which side enemy's are going to attack you. Becouse you dont have too much of troops which will defend you in every side. And you need to react to it by sending your defencive forces to those sides of a walls to hold them off.
Some how managed to defend myself from second only time as i have noticed that i havent any ability build and i have to move troops from side to side.
Creativity: 4
Quite cool.
Short mission, but effective with invasions and action :D
Map Design: 4
Some places in map are a bit not cool.
But easily editable. Just 15 min. more need to spend in it. :]
Story/Instructions: 4.5
Quite cool that you have been inspired by book.
But a bit of instructions like: you cant build anything and recruit ability would be nice to see in it, etc.
Additional Comments:
Looking forward to play other your creation.

I cant play this map.
Is where it is supposed to be located, but when I play the map, it starts then shows me an error message EVERY TIME.
But other people seem to be able to play this...
So... is it the vesion of my game?
My version is Stronghold Crusader 1.1 (not jewel and for windows)
If I have to apply a patch(es) can you tell me from where I can download it?
(And if its possible how to apply it to the crusader game)
Thanks
