The Bridges... Yes I know the name is not that creative but that's what I named it.
I really had a ton of fun making this map. I started out just fooling around with the cliffs and rivers making weird waterfalls, and then I had a great urge to make a Map!
So here it is, A 4 player map which works great for 2 on 2.
I designed the map so that every continent area has at least three crossing points (the bridges, and water ways). Each continent has plenty of resources for each player, although I would not call it balanced, due to the difference over land each player has.
-The two keeps on the right have less space to expand a castle, but have the advantage of natural defense (cliffs, mountains).
-While the two keeps on the left have the advantage of plenty of expansion space, but almost no natural defense
(Have in mind that computer opponents don't work too well on the right side of the map due to tighter living space, Human players work the best!)
I HOPE YOU ENJOY!! :) |

Some places of the map I liked a lot, but there is a lot unfinished for me places in the map which just kills that pleasure in playing it.
So for map design i would give 3.5

Twodie could you be more specific? I really don't understand your comment. |

This map looks like fun, I'll give it a shot sometime. I can tell you're pretty experienced with mapmaking. |

This map looks very, very good!
I am not very fond to maps that are completely covered with thick scrub or oasis but this map looks so fine and polished that I will ignore that!
Yet, I think that any computer player will screw it up if hes on the upper right side. Besides that I find this one of the best maps I've seen in a while![Edited on 02/04/10 @ 11:29 AM]

This is a great looking map. I really want to try it out and rate it. Just one problem: The map keeps crashing SHC. I've redownloaded, and even reinstalled/patched SHC, but the map keeps crashing about 3 minutes into the game. Does anyone else have this problem? Could it be because I have v1.1 and the map was made in v1.2? |

Yes, becouse of versions difference. |

I'm having trouble finding how to patch to v1.2, if that does indeed exist. Can anyone tell me if I have to repurchase to get v1.2? If this is the case, I won't bother.... |

return of Yasko,
You might be better asking that question in the Scenario Design forum

More people who might know the answer are likely to read it there. |
