Hi again my frends, after long time of passivity (to much work) I am sending another map. I hope you will like it and enjoy it. Think about your battle strategy, any mistake will be fatal for you. I am waiting for your comments and maybe some review. Lord of Hell, hope you are still here :). One more time try to play all my maps like a story 1. Castle Slavin siege (The Rescue), 2. Jerusalem (Crusader), Castle Hruda siege (Hunting for the Rat). I will try to continue and work on some new maps, this time with story of lord Martin the Raven from the second part Crusader.
Playability: 4
There is an issue with the scripting, the win conditions require that you kill an enemy lord (who does not exist), and there is no lose condition. This doesn't affect the gameplay, just means you don't get the cutscenes or anything at the end which is a little disappointing after a hard-fought victory.
Balance: 4.5
The typical massive Pig invasion against a mighty fortress. You can be overwhelmed even at normal unless you put up a tenacious defense.
Creativity: 5
This castle is very well laid out, it is defensive but looks like a fully functional castle- its not just a big stone turtle. It looks blocky from the minimap but in game view the different elevations make it look very good. I really like how the cathedral is set away from the rest of the fortress.
Map Design: 5
Mountains offer some of the most breathtaking scenes in Stronghold and this is one of them. Capturing the rugged ridges, the streams sweeping about the castle and under the bridges to water the valley, this map is one of those that is worth downloading just to look at.
Story/Instructions: 4
Deep and intriguing story above. It would be good to include as much as you can in the in-game text, though.
As I said, just download it to look at it, or download because it is a real challenge that will test your ability to hold strongly!
