Nice map , but please set the winning criterium at the very beginning ...
Playing at VH level , ( 70 crossbows needed ) , I stockpiled 620 before victory screen .

As the stock is checked only in '48...

Beautiful and raw Irish coast. I had good fun playing this mission. Thank you.
Two wonderful photographs of the coast plateaus help to enter the illusion of what the carefully flattened landscape resembles. Found myself placing hovels scattered around in the rough winds from the sea. Only some spaces are of special fertility for wheat of hops farms.
Trees are pretty few at the start. :) Do I want to wait until they have started respawning?
Messages, events and restrictions make up a coherent and convincing story. The poor province has to produce and deliver a good (crossbows) for the advanced forces of the far King while the locals canot use it themselves (bows only). |

Playability: 3.5
I don't know what to say here, cause I never played a map like this, I think that the best word for the gameplay would be "calm". The goal was collecting 35 crossbows, first I thought it won't be an easy task, as I expected tons of bandit raids and events. After the first 5 years: no events. Nothing happened, only the wood occured a little problem, but then I let a little part of the map to re-forest. So that problem was solved. In the first ~10 years this map was like a freebuild and that time was enough to collect the xbows without any problems. And when I had 41 xbows nothing happened, no win screen. I destroyed the xbowmakers as I didn't need them and surrounded the armory by walls, if I didn't do this, the bandits would destroy it. Hopefully some outlaws came to my help to keep the bandits at bay. In 1043 a message came: "The shipment of weapon is due in 5 year.", here I realised that the author did a little scripting mistake: he set the win condition at 1048 instead of a Lose event, which would occure a lose-timer, and the win condition should be set at the early beginning to win after the xbows are collected.
Though I really enjoyed playing this map.
Balance: 3
The map wasn't terribly easy-nothing to do map, however there were nothing really challengeing in this mission, the bandits attacked in 20-men groups, but after they destroyed the iron mines, they left. I suggest you to add more events to the map, set the lose timer earlier (or set the lose timer at 1048, but then raise the amount of xbows needed to be collected).
Creativity: 4
A very creative map, I like all aspects of the design, the Irish coast is beautifully recreated, I would give you a five, but the story and scripting bring down the score here.
Map Design: 4.5
Awesome and almost outstanding map design, only the shore-line doesn't look natural, it is too...regular. I really liked that I had a lots of place to build and the atmsophere of the map was pleasing too, I felt like I was really on the Irish coast. You did a great job here, I see great potential in you, keep improve! :)
Story/Instructions: 1.5
Only a line, but if you manage to add a larger story, I will happily higher the score, as it is sad that only the story brings down the score.
