This is a ficticious siege to be played on normal difficulty, and ideally with the troops provided.

Fotheringhay has been based on artists' impressions and my own visits to the site, as very little remains of this once important castle that saw the growth of the House of York, the birth of Richard III and the death of Mary, Queen of Scots.
Excellent map design, with great effort for detail. Good playability, good balance of troops. It's a shame the AI of the CPU is quite bad, otherwise this kind of map would have been a lot more fun to defend. Only one strategical flaw in the balance/map design (or maybe a feature, I don't know!), which I won't mention as not to spoil the experience any new players of this map.
