As one of the most respected, revered and admired Lords, life seems to be pleasant enough for you. Your stronghold is the most accomplished of castles, a master of design and a far cry from the run-down, filthy 'bastions' across this land. It's sheer majesty strikes many with nothing but awe and even disbelief. With an abundance of deer and fertile lands devised from reclaiming the rich soils from the river, you couldn't wish for more. Your people are happy and content, well fed, protected, with access to many of the finer things in life. They serve you with little more than the occasional grumble. Indeed, some would say that life may be just a little too... comfortable... but they are jealous, are they not? In this time without war, without bloodshed or hatred, your favour with the King has put you in a noteworthy position. The Shire is well protected with your castle at its' heart. Nothing can bring down these walls!
Or so it seems.
This is an invasion scenario, no economic goals are required. Please refer to the read-me included within this zip file for more information regarding the story and designers' notes.
Special thanks to JP Setlak for playtesting this scenario for me.
This map features an enourmous castle. It is beutiful with lots of nice "twists and turns"
Playability: (5)- I have not played many BIG castle maps with loads of swordsmen/Pikemen before and this was very fun. When seeing the Castle design and all the troops I had - I thought that it would be a walk in the park - I was badly mistaken -> great job !!
Balance: (4) - It must be very much work to get the balance right when designing such a big castle and with so "strong" troops. The author has done a great job, and it took me many (i refuse to mention the amount :) ) tries to beat it.
Creativity: (4) - Just look at the landscape and castle design. The large bridge was a nice tuch. It could have gotten a "5" if the story had been even better(the story IS good)
Map: (5) - This map is beutiful. The landscape is design to be wetlands and it is great. There is a nice large bridge leading to the castle. The castle itself is great. The first try playing it, I had to "give up" playing. I just had to look around and get a grip on all the eyecandy and get a grip on "where is what". To win this map you must defend ALL the castle - you have important buildings such as granary/Barracks and more spread out in the castle.
Story: (4) - The story is good. There is a twist on it explaining why the enemy has so much info about your castle(which the AI seem to have :) )
Great job Sulis...Keep them coming :)

Very nice work sulis
playability 4/5 i was leaning towards 5 but for some reason when the invasions started my king was right next to the sign post, but other than that time great.
Balance 4/5 the balance is quite good if u removed a few troops it might be even better, mabye even your king have to fight off a few stay enemy.
Creativity 5/5 i liked the style of the map vey much not many eye candy to make stand out but as you said invasion scenario
Map design 5/5 i thought your map was the key thing to make the castle look good (besides the castle itself)
Story/Instructions 4/5 i thought the story was good but not as good as the other stories you have made for your maps but you cant have them all the same so i gave you a 4
overall a very good map took time to get the hang of..
good work

I was passing by out of curiousity and noticed there was no minimap. So I took the liberty of adding the minimap. In the process I had to guess that the version used was v1.1 (the update form insists that the version is now added)
