My First Uploaded map. Although i don't think this is my best, i decided to upload it for feedback and advice. Please feel free to comment/Review.
~*~Story~*~
The year is 1190. As the crusaders march closer and closer to Jerusalem, Saladin and his allies prepare for a daring assault on the crusaders Flank. You control Fort barnard, A re-supply outpost created near acre to treat the wounded and battle scarred crusader warriors. Afew week later, A small convoy of troops arrive warning of a Large Arabian attack and their mercenary allies comes in. even as we speak, a blockade assembles on the near by Mediterranean sea Ford, used for vital trading from europe. Unless you hold fort barnard, these trading routes will be lost and many more crusaders will die from the flank attacks. Failure is not a option.
All I can say is for your first uploaded map, this is great! I wasn't expecting
it to be that good!( no offence to the maker, I'm just used to the fact that the first map people put on here isn't quite as good)
Playability: 4.5
Starting out with a simple little castle, I thought small castle = small invasion, boy has I wrong!A bunch of continual medium attacks kept me on my toes, and after making more troops, could keep them off my walls. When the invasions ended I had to move a few troops back up the lumpy area and take out the few straddlers.
Balance: 3.5
the balance score was lowest cause all I had to do was: take all my archers and put them on the South-West jutting wall, then place my fire balistas in that nook next to them, then lastly put all the ground troops in front of the balistas. That position kept all the attacks away from my walls.
Creativity: 4
Using for the most part only archers and spearmen kept the battle a bit more alive, but the swordsmen, pikemen, and knights, easily defended my balistas.
Map Design: 4
The sea inlet with the lumpy background, looked nice, and ruins were good too.
Story/Instructions: 3.5
Good in the fact that you actually have a story as some first timers don't. Is that story real? It didn't sound like it, pleasant though.
Additional Comments:
Good for your first map!!! keep them coming!
As for changes I suggest taking out the swordsmen, pikemen, and knights and it would be harder and more exiting.

Thanks for the review. I'll upload a new version without the Heavier troops and see how it goes.
As for the story, Most of it was fictional, although the fort, goals of the crusaders and year was Correct.
