The name comes from what is required to build a castle in such an attractive area, without making any editor-based alterations to the map - the technique used is based on covering as much area around the annoying trees with walls, set the game speed to max and wait for the trees to spontaneously disappear, and build more wall where they once stood. With enough trees gone, a keep can neatly fit there.
Something strange whith this map :
It is a siege , nothing to build !
15% losses ( the mangonels during approach ...) .

In a "Siege That" you get a fortification posed by the designer placed on a standard terrain and the player sieges it.
Is that the way with this map? Is it a proper siege-that?

Map editor - New siege that mission - Locked and saved - result uploaded. I load it just fine in "Play Siege" menu, if there is any problem on your end, then other than cross-version compatibility, I don't know what it might be...

The strange is that you said above to build walls to block trees respawn in order to set the keep ( there is room for a keep anyway )...
Indeed map works fine as " siege " , I wondered if there is a trick to build something in the siege maps .

Guess it depends on the distribution of trees - everytime I started the map, the top of that cliff was littered with them, blocking the area quite effectively.

So it is a normal "siege that" mission then.

I think Senseisan thought that the author was saying that if you're patient you can build on the map during gameplay, when what he was actually saying was that with patience, you can clear out the trees in the EDITOR and build in a supposedly blocked spot.

If you are in the editor , you can either:
1 ) set first the keep and then the trees .
or
2 ) delete the trees..
