-Your upcoming Marrige is much to look forward to. In the meantime you make your people ready for the feast with lots of beer and you are on a spiritual mission aswell, to raise cathedrals on the hill overlooking the land. There might be a bad neighbour who want's to intervien in your marrying affairs. You must show him who is King! Because you are the rightfull King of this land and you are just that and nothing else.-
This is map no 4. in the Master of the land campagin.
- >The fifth map in the campaign - a first taste of the wolf - is a small mission and will be found under economic missions.
All of the 6 maps in the Master of the lands campaign have been tested by me at normal dificulty. If you can win at any other dificulty then that means you are a player far beyond my current skill level! Have fun! Please leave a note if you wish!
Here's just a short annotation: if you play this map with game version 1.4.1 your successful fulfilling of all the objectives won't be triggered/registered or ticked off; after checking the map in the editor it reveals a victory setting for the year 1100, even if you are victorious several years earlier, weird?

Thank you for your comment, Stratego, I made it like that so that you'd have to wait for the marrige 1099 to win, but in hinesight maybe the mission is a bit on te long side and turning this on earlier in the mission /by changing the date of the win conditions to an earlier date than 1100 as you pointed out/ I certainly think this should be very fine. Hope you liked the map!

So here's what I have to say. (1.41)
First off: Don't feel discouraged by the following summary, i respect and understand how long it takes to create a map and scenario plus the playtesting. So, kudos for doing a whole campaign.
Second: I feel like this map wasn't really playtested too much /at all, to be honest. (Maybe the versions collide or smth.) EG.: The small gate is not passable from the get-go. Weird terrain at the walls. But the biggest point as strategos already said: The map gives you way to much time and doesn't trigger the victory. I completed all the tasks ca. at the quarter mark. (played on normal) So it was more of a waiting game.
I did like the scaling of the attacking armies, even though they had no chance in this instance. Maybe you should have gone for a more multidirectional threat like in map 2.
IF you aimed for a super long mission I would suggest reducing the starting goods, especially food, and making it harder to get wood/stone.
My last point: Allowing the player to buy the "victory-good" makes the mission way to simple.
I hope you take the criticism and continue making missions. Overall I did enjoy the campaign.

The simple answer is i liked the map so much that I wanted to play it for a long time which made me want to drag out the time a bit. First map I made thoguh so a lot of things could be tweaked. My recomendation is that you have a look at the mission file and kind of scale it yourself the way you want it! I would really like that actually, if someone comes up with a new cool way to play the map I would really like to see that they uploaded their version of the map here on stronghold heaven. Thanks for leaving the comment and thanks for playing tha map!
