Greetings! I present to you my attempt at an arched bridge. Yes, ARCHES in Crusader!
The arch is an element I found lacking in Crusader. Exploring this page, I constantly came upon uploaders who have built bridges in their maps, but all the bridges were made the same way - level stone crossing splitting the river like a dam. I regretted the lack of arches, so I came up with the idea to create an illusion closely resembling an arch under which the river flows, using only what is available in the game. I hope I was successful and that the solution has had the desired effect.
The map has been tested multiple times against AI opponents from both the base game and using the EvreyImproved mod from the Unofficial Crusader Patch v.2.15b. Most of the lords had enough room to build and didn't get stuck. The only glitch I came upon was the trees on the river islands randomly disappearing, and this only when using the Unofficial Patch. Also, crossing the bridge is fun and full of surprises.
I know this map doesn't offer the most intense game, because it was developed with the bridge as its focus, but I still deem it worthy of being presented here.
This is my first time uploading a map, so I would love to hear your opinions on it.
