Bailiff
A bailiff collected rent for the lord and organised the peasants’ work. He was in charge of the repair of buildings and tools
Barber
As well as cutting people’s hair, a barber was also the dentist and surgeon
Billman
A foot soldier who carried a bill hook or axe
Bishop
A church leader. Frequently he was important in government as well as religious matters

Blacksmith
A metal worker who shoed horses and made/mended armour and arrows
